Category pages are where the money is.

Online stores lose organic revenue in the same places every time: thin category pages, product descriptions copied from the supplier, filters generating ten thousand junk URLs, and a checkout that loads in nine seconds on a phone. We work through all of it.

The Problem

Four leaks in almost every store

01

Category pages with sixty words

"Buy the best organic honey online" above a product grid, and nothing else. That page has to beat Amazon and Nykaa. It needs buying guidance, sizes, use cases, FAQs and internal links, written for someone deciding between three options.

02

Supplier copy on every product

The same paragraph sits on four hundred other stores. Google picks one of them to rank and it is rarely the newest domain. Rewriting your top sellers first usually pays for the whole engagement.

03

Filters eating your crawl budget

Colour, size and price filters spin up thousands of near-identical URLs. Google spends its visits on those instead of your real pages. Canonical rules and parameter handling stop the bleeding.

04

Out-of-stock products deleted

Deleting a URL that ranked throws away every link and every ranking it earned. Products come back into stock. The page should stay live, tell the truth, and offer alternatives.

Scope

What we work on

  • Category and subcategory architecture
  • Keyword mapping per collection
  • Category page content
  • Product description rewrites
  • Product and review schema
  • Faceted navigation rules
  • Duplicate and thin page cleanup
  • Out-of-stock URL policy
  • Image compression and alt text
  • Site speed on mobile
  • Internal linking between collections
  • Buying guides and comparison content

Platforms we work on

Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento and custom builds on Next.js. Each one breaks in its own way and we know where to look.

On Shopify we work around the collection URL structure rather than pretending it does not exist. On WooCommerce we usually start by killing the plugins that add four seconds to every page load.

If you also sell on Amazon or Flipkart, we handle listing optimisation there as a separate piece of work, because the ranking rules are nothing like Google's.

Case

Advait Herbals

They came to us in March 2026 with product labels and nothing else. No store, no catalog, no search presence at all.

We built the brand identity, the product catalog, the ecommerce site and the SEO base in under thirty days. Category structure was planned around what Ayurvedic buyers search for before they know the brand name, so the pages had a chance to rank from day one instead of being retrofitted later.

They are now in talks with us for Amazon listing management and an ongoing SEO retainer.

Questions

Store owners usually ask

Should I bother with SEO if I sell on Amazon anyway?

Marketplace sales come with commission and no customer relationship. Organic sales on your own store keep the margin and the email address. Most brands we work with run both, with different content for each.

Will you touch my theme code?

Only with permission, and on a duplicate theme first. Speed and schema work usually needs template edits. Nothing goes live on your production store without you seeing it.

How many products can you rewrite?

Around twenty a month on the standard retainer, starting with whatever earns the most or gets the most traffic. For large catalogs we build description templates that stay unique per product.

My rankings dropped after a redesign. Can you recover them?

Usually yes, if the old URLs still exist somewhere in a backup or in Search Console. The common cause is a redesign that changed every URL without redirects. That is a two to six week fix.

We will tell you which pages are costing you sales.

Send your store URL. You get back the leaks we can see from outside, in one page, at no cost.
